The Local cafe & donut bar
Hastings based The Local Cafe is where you can find fresh, vibrant, healthy handcrafted food and superb hospitality. Reflecting the friendly 'down to earth' vib of the interior design the graphics feature stylised coffee and food images along with funky fonts to compliment the friendly welcoming atmosphere.

As part of The Local Cafe the bounce juice bar sell fresh pressed juice and smoothies. Different imagery was required to portray health and vibrancy of the juices & smoothies. These bright digital menus and wall graphics complimented The Local graphics while creating its own unique space, resulting in a friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Music Works retail shops sell world renowned musical instrument brands and offer a level of professionalism and customer service that is second to none. From acoustic classical instruments to hard rock electric guitars, Musicworks provides a huge wide range of instruments so the logo needed to appeal to this wide ranging audience. The solution was to create a logo incorporating an acoustic guitar shape with the impression of an electrified 'M' within the soundhole of the guitar. This logo has stood the test of time and is seen on nation wide signage in all retail shops.

These West City Concert Band posters were created for various upcoming concerts. The band is considered one of the top concert bands in NZ. They have hosted and performed with premier bands from USA and have performed at the Auckland Town Hall. Not forgetting their roots, they are involved with community events such as Farmers Santa Parade, Anzac Day services. As a life member, I am proud to support the band with graphic design that reflect the special flavour of each concert.
footpath signs
Labtests required new footpath signs for their nationwide pathology collection centres. Their branding had been updated with a stylise map of New Zealand made out of dots. To complement this I created a simple arrow using similar dots to keep the branding consistant.
